Bass Avenger

From the creators of Deer Avenger, where the hunted become the hunters, comes the role-reversing Bass Avenger. Your mission is to manage your lures, attract fishermen, and reel them in. Lures include toilet paper, pizza, girlie magazines, and a suitcase full of money. Choose from such fishing spots as Lake Sitendrink and Lake Okaychokeme. Throw back the scrawny ones or keep them for chum, and display the big ones in your trophy room.

Customer Review: Good when your bored.

If your looking for good action, cutting edge graphics, and or a surreal sound experience ... keep looking.

But if your looking for an easy game to waste some time, and like the "outdoors man" spoof concept. Then the various "Avenger" games are a good place to start. Once figured out the K.I.S.S. style controls (keep it simple stupid) make for a rapid learning curve. I drop this one, or Deer 1 or 2, in when I'm bored and not in the mood to dig into a long play game.

The one draw back to the "Avenger" games is the obvious, and generally simple patterns. Although "Deer 2" did a markedly better job of upping the difficulty.

The only real challenge to this game is trying to beat your times and weights.

Customer Review: good for awhile

At the beginning, this game is very fun and exciting. The Bass's wisecracks and baits used to catch the fisherman are hilarious. After awhile you learn which baits to use for every different kind of fisherman and soon enough you have caught all the different "species." The problem with this is once you match the bait and fisherman it gets really easy to catch them which makes the game extremely boring.
